Contigo Caffè — Web Design & UX/UI

Concept and Objectives

The project began with the goal of creating a website that fully reflected Contigo Caffè's identity: a modern, elegant, and youthful venue. The physical experience of the location—curated, welcoming, and visually harmonious—had to be translated into a digital interface capable of conveying the same mood. The primary requirement was to give plenty of space to images, while keeping the text simple and direct, and to develop a highly functional mobile version, as most users access the site via QR codes placed on the tables.

Design and Visual Identity

The website's aesthetic was built around the restaurant's color palette and materials: warm, neutral tones, subtle contrasts, and a visual balance that evokes the feeling of comfort and refinement of the interior spaces. The typography was chosen to ensure readability and stylistic consistency: clean lines, balanced proportions, and clear text hierarchies. Each section uses ample white space and full-width images to convey a sense of spaciousness and simplicity. The result is a coherent, elegant, and contemporary design that enhances the brand's digital presence.

Structure and User Experience

The site was designed following a user-centered logic, with intuitive and fluid navigation.

• Home Page: A visually striking opening section introduces the mood of the establishment with ambient photographs and a simple introductory text. The goal is to immediately convey Contigo Caffè's personality without the need for many words.

• About Us: A short story about the venue's identity, accompanied by atmospheric images and a balanced layout that alternates blocks of text and photographs.

• Digital Menu: one of the most important parts of the project. This section is optimized for smartphone browsing, as the menu is accessible via QR code. The mobile-first design ensures a quick reading experience, with dishes and drinks presented visually and clearly.

• Gallery: a photographic collection that tells the story of the venue—details, moments, people—enhanced by a clean and dynamic grid layout.

• Contacts and Map: a simple and direct closing, with immediate calls-to-action (“Call”, “Open on Maps”, “Follow us”), designed for mobile users.

Technical Approach and Responsibility

The site was developed with a mobile-first approach to ensure maximum compatibility and fluidity on every device. Every element—from the menu to the gallery—was designed to adapt naturally to different resolutions. Particular attention was paid to loading speed, clear calls-to-action, and visual consistency between desktop and mobile versions. The result is an elegant and functional interface, where technology supports the design without ever overpowering it.

Result and Impact

The Contigo Caffè website represents a balanced synthesis of aesthetics and functionality. Images tell a story, text guides, and navigation naturally accompanies the user. The digital experience becomes a coherent extension of the physical experience in the store, strengthening brand perception and improving content usability.
